General Overview
Grand Canyon University is a private institution of higher education based in Phoenix, Arizona that offers both online and on-campus degree programs in a number of different areas. What began as a small school established by Southern Baptists is now a non-denominational, regionally accredited university serving thousands of students across the country through their four colleges: the Ken Blanchard College of Business, the College of Education, the College of Nursing and Health Science, and the College of Liberal Arts.
Although a traditional on-campus experience is available for students in the area, GCU is known much more for its distance learning degree programs.
